Woes of an online shopkeeper

Over the past week I've had 3 of my listings in my Etsy shop just vanish with no trace and I still don't know why. I’ve contacted Etsy to try and find out but I’m still waiting for them to reply.

I also realised that because of the way shipping settings work here on my website, that some international customers were being overcharged (by a lot) for shipping.

Luckily I was able to spot it and send them a refund - and I'm grateful that they were still willing to place their orders in the first place, in spite of the ridiculous shipping fee that they were charged!

It took me a long time to figure out how but I think I've managed to fix that now so it shouldn't happen again..

Obviously, if you’re in the UK, this won’t affect you because UK shipping is always free. But if you’re somewhere else, please be assured that I’m keeping an eye on this and will make sure that you’re don’t paying way over the odds to get your goodies delivered.

I do love having an online shop (or 2!) but sometimes things don't quite go according to plan!
