This week I wanted to let you know about all the new things that I’ve been busily adding to my shop recently. As well as the postcards that I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, there are 6 new prints, 6 new greeting cards and a paper garland. The cards are available individually or as sets. There are 4 tree card designs and 2 sock cards.
All of these cards are ideal for Christmas and the Winter Holiday Season but they’re all blank inside so can suit any purpose you choose.
The moth, bee and butterfly that feature on the postcard set are now for sale as archival giclee prints. These designs are 3 of the drawings I made during Inktober this year.
3 more of my Inktober drawings are also available as giclee prints. These are black and white ink drawings of woolly gloves, a hat and socks. They’re available individually, or you can buy them as a set of 3, which works out slightly cheaper per print.
The same socks from the set of 2 greeting cards are also available to buy as a paper garland. You will receive 12 different paper socks, each one cut out by hand, and each with 2 pre-made holes at the top. Also included is a length of twine, measuring approximately 1.5m (5 ft).
I hope you find something here that you like the look of. I also have a little added extra that will be coming to the shop next week so keep your eyes peeled for that too.
And, if you didn’t already know, most items in my shop now have free postage within the UK and reduced shipping fees internationally!
Today I wanted to let you know that there’s a new postcard set for sale in my Etsy shop. These are the first postcards I’ve made and feature 3 of the illustrations I’ve made so far during Inktober. One each of a Bumble bee, moth and butterfly.
The postcards come as a set of 3 and are printed on very thick white card with a slight sheen on the surface, without being glossy.
Shipping for most items in my shop is now free within the UK and international shipping has been reduced.
I’ll also have some giclee prints of the same designs available soon, and some some new greeting cards too, so keep your eye out for those. In the meantime, order your postcard sets from my shop.
I’m excited to let you know today that there is a new greeting card available to purchase in my Etsy shop. I designed this one with Christmas in mind but it is blank inside so can be used for lots of different occasions.
Unlike the other cards in my shop, each of these cards will be printed by hand using a lino block that I carved. That means that no two cards will be 100% identical.
I also have a special offer available now on ALL cards in my shop so make sure you take advantage of that with the holiday season fast approaching.
Find my new card, the special offer and all my other cards, prints, notebooks and original works in my shop.
Today I wanted to let you know that I have a sale coming up in my Etsy shop. From tomorrow until Monday 4 September everything in the shop will be discounted by 10%! You won’t need a coupon code to take advantage of the offer because the prices will be automatically marked down. Anyone who is subscribed to my email newsletter can also add an extra discount on top of the sale prices using the coupon code I sent them when they subscribed!
My shop is stocked full of prints, original paintings, greetings cards and notebooks. Head over there now to choose the perfect birthday (or holiday!) gift for someone, or treat yourself while this offer’s available.
This week I’m working on 3 different pieces of work. First of all I have a client commission piece that I’m hoping to get done probably by the end of next week.
I’m also working on some sketches for this week’s 365 Days to a Portfolio prompt. Since January Marissa and I have been creating 3 new prompts each week which fit into an overall theme for the month (fashion, botanics, animals, etc). However, things were starting to feel a bit hectic for both of us so we decided to slow things down a bit for the summer months.
Instead of having an overarching theme each month, and creating 12 or more illustrations within that theme, we’re now working on one illustration prompt per week (either a new one or an ‘old favourite’). This gives us the space to dig deep with our work if we choose to, or to at least not feel overwhelmed.
This week’s prompt is ‘Repeat Pattern’, and as you probably know, I really enjoy creating patterns from my work so I think I’m going to have a lot of fun with that.
The third thing I’m working on is the 100 Day Project. There’s now 1 week left until I finish my 100 days of hand lettering and I’m kind of looking forward to it being over! It’s not that I haven’t enjoyed working on my hand lettering but doing it every single day can start to feel a bit stressful at times. So I’m looking forward to continuing with including hand lettering in my work but producing it at a slightly less frenetic pace!
I’m also starting to think about how I could make next year’s 100 Day Project a little bit different , or at least easier.
One other thing I want to mention is that right now there’s a summer sale on in my Etsy shop, so this would be a great time to get a discount on any of my prints, notebooks or greeting cards. Just use the code: SUMMERSALE17 to get 10% off any order of £4 or more. I’m also offering free shipping to anywhere within the UK with the code: ETSYCIJ17. This sale ends next Monday (10 July) so don’t miss out!
