Inktober in October

Tomorrow I’ll draw the last person drawing in my Daler Rowney sketchbook. My plan was to probably choose another theme and draw something else every day during October but like I said last week, I was just waiting to see what felt right.

So when I start my shiny new Leuchtturm sketchbook on Thursday I’m going to take part in Inktober for the first time. If you don’t know what Inktober is, it’s a drawing challenge started by Jake Parker and the idea is to draw something in ink every day, every other day, once a week or whatever, throughout October.

Seeing as I’m already drawing in ink most of the time anyway it seemed like a natural fit for me. I might include some drawings of people in this too but I’m not going to set a theme and see where Inktober takes me. Will you join me for Inktober?

I’m in and will be posting once a week on FB with the #Inktober. This will keep me in my sketchbook daily. I need prompts.
