St George in Stained Glass

St George Stained Glass Window

After feeling ill for most of the week I managed to go for a walk yesterday and took my camera with me. I took a photograph of this window at St Lawrence Jewry Church because I liked how the light was shining behind it. I didn’t notice until I got home that the picture in the stained glass was of St George.

I recognise the shields in three of the corners as representing Scotland, England and Northern Ireland but does anyone know what the one in the bottom left corner is? You can see a higher res version of this photo by clicking on the top image.

    The dove may have some religious/biblical reference.
