Drawing August Part 4

I’m into the home straight for Drawing August now so only 6 more daily drawings to go.

I did experiment with photographing this page because again, scanning seems to have an odd effect on the colours but then photographing it didn’t seem that great either. I decided to stick with the scan for now because it just seemed faster and simpler.

I’ll post both the high-res scan and the photo to my Flickr stream though so you can decide for yourself which you prefer. Just click on the image above to link to the high-res scan then press the left arrow key to view the previous image which is the photo.

One thing I have noticed is that the colours of the things I’m choosing to draw have been a bit more subdued this week. I wonder if that’s a reflection of how I’ve been feeling. Could well be.

    I like how the light switch looks like a smiley face – it’s like she is smiling at you for drawing her so well!
