Slow to Develop I started a (past its use by date) reel of black and white 35mm film almost a year ago and finally got around to finishing it and getting it developed a few weeks ago. Ilford 35mm Black and White Film, 400 ISO. What IS hilarious is my man got me a brand-new camera this past Valentine’s (I’m gonna have to kill him as my big 5-0 is in April so THAT would have been an appropriate time – he is forbidden for giving me anything else… sorry I so digress) soooo… I took out my old 35mm film-only camera from its camera bag to see if the new one would fit in. What did I find but TWO unused rolls of film plus one that’s IN the camera! Now I’m going to have to go out and finish it because I desperately want to see what’s on it! Tell me, did YOU have any idea what was on your film? Cathryn Worrell February 18, 2014 at 8:12 PM - Reply Well, this film was still in its pack so had nothing on it until I took these pictures. However, I do have 3 or 4 rolls of used colour film that have been sitting around for years and I have no idea what is on them. I really should get them developed! I hope you enjoy your new camera and do let me know what’s on the films you found! 🙂 Dale February 18, 2014 at 8:46 PM - Reply I will! And I am so enjoying this new camera… I’ve got three days’ worth to put to the blog! Joy @ Joyfully Green February 18, 2014 at 5:41 PM - Reply These photos are beautiful and look like something found framed in an antiques store. I loved using Ilford film “back in the day.” Lovely, lovely, lovely! My favorite is the top shot. Thanks for sharing these images and taking me down Memory Lane of my film-developing days! Cathryn Worrell February 18, 2014 at 8:16 PM - Reply Thank you fort he lovely compliments Joy! I really enjoyed getting back into film photography with this roll of film. So much so that I’ve since bought a new roll of Ilford film and some colour films too. My aim for now is to try and keep up with both the digital and the ‘analogue’ photography. I’d love to see some of the photos you’ve developed some time :). Leave A Comment Cancel reply Comment Notify me of follow-up comments by email. Notify me of new posts by email.
